3. Adjective combinations (cụm tính từ)
Có một số cụm tính từ (adj+noun) thường xuyên xuất hiện như sau:
· There was an apparent discrepancy between the two sets of results. (tồn tại)
· We noted a potential problem with the experimental design which we had to deal with first. (Vấn đề tiềm ẩn)
· The principal cause of the failure was a sudden temperature change. (Nguyên do đầu tiên)
· The research used a rigorous methodology which had been tested on many occasions. (biện pháp nghiêm ngặt)
